Morning, Day 29 for The 30-Day Bride

“It’s been a fun ride, ” Cachelle Fry said from what sounded like the inside of her car yesterday afternoon – I didn’t ask but hoped she was talking hands free. There hasn’t been much time lately for Fry to sit down and chat. When we asked how long it had been since she actually saw her fiancé, Allan Colquhoun, she had to think for a moment. “We actually spent a few hours together yesterday, talking about the wedding, I really needed him to make some decisions with me about seating and music for the ceremony… he’s so much better at that stuff … our only distraction was that we kept getting excited and saying, ‘we’re getting married!’ and then getting back to work.” Allan also emailed her a few days ago about going away after the wedding – it’s something that hasn’t been decided either way.
The past week especially has been busy with all the last minute details, in order to get some sleep this is the first time in her life Cachelle has turned her mobile phone off over night. “I’m not actually seeking people out to inform them about decisions I’ve made or changes at this point … whatever hasn’t been taken care of I’ve forgotten about and I’d rather not add anything to my list,” Cachelle says.
Yesterday, Cachelle’s wedding ring came in the mail from Blue Nile, she borrowed Love the Card‘s scorer to score her placecards, and she was en route to ensure the fondent for her cake was the right colour. She was also hoping to get herself a mani-pedi at some point, but that might not happen until today. She’s also as prepared as possible for the weather, having arranged for heating lamps for under the tent.
Stay tuned for more details throughout today as the clock ticks down – including the music details which I know were promised a few days back! Tomorrow, The Wedding Co. is onsite for some of the set up and I will definitely try to post some sneak peek pics in the afternoon!
