Calling All Etsy Sellers!

The Wedding Co. is seeking approximately 20 unique, handmade wedding-related products sold via Etsy to be featured at The Wedding Show, January 2010. The selected items will be on display at the The Handmade Stand for the duration of the three-day event. After the show, they will each be profiled on this blog and given away to readers.

To submit a design for consideration, email between 1 – 3 low resolution photos of the product, a brief description of the item, the price (specify US/CDN currency), and your Etsy URL to The Wedding Co. Multiple submissions from a single seller are welcome, there is no fee to submit. Submissions are due by December 1, 2009!

The selected sellers will be notified Dec. 7, 2009, and will be responsible for shipping a complete version of the exact product that was submitted for consideration to The Wedding Co. by Dec. 31, 2009, along with 150 business cards.

The Wedding Show, now in its 9th year, is a boutique-inspired event featuring the best businesses in the industry from Toronto and the city’s surrounding areas. In the past, we’ve been proud to host Darcy Miller of Martha Stewart Weddings and Sasha Souza as speakers. More recently, The Wedding Co. travelled to Brooklyn, N.Y. this past June as a sponsor of The Brooklyn Pop-Up Wedding Chapel.

We can’t wait to see what you’re creating! Submissions will selected based on design, uniqueness, functionality, materials used and sellers’ Etsy rating.

Note: In submitting a product to The Handmade Stand, the Etsy seller agrees that it automatically becomes the property of The Wedding Co. to display and to give away.
