Cranes from Big Bar California

Sara and Pete just sent in nine cranes for The Wedding Co.’s Crane Chandelier Project. They made 1,000 of them in memory of loved ones for their June 19 wedding in Big Bar, California.

Making 1,000 origami cranes takes patience and commitment — two essential qualities for a good marriage. To create a symbol of this scale to represent loved ones not present at the wedding is a sign of another key quality: respect.
