I was invited by the creative team at Martha Stewart Living to attend their big blogger party last Thursday in New York City. Due to the excessive summer heat and potential thunderstorms, the party moved from their famous rooftop to the MSL hallways and photo studio.
Champagne and fresh fruit drinks were served as we had the opportunity to meet the editors of each of the MSL publications. In addition to great conversation and networking, editors stamped our special passports with their favorite Manhattan destinations for future visits.
It was great running into some familiar faces: Darcy Miller, Creative Director of Martha Stewart Weddings; Amy Atlas, the sweet table guru; Vané Broussard of the Brooklyn Bride; Jillian of 100 Layer Cake; as well as meeting new colleagues whose dedication to the industry is always so inspiring.
Thank you to everyone at MSL for hosting such a great event and acknowledging bloggers, whose hard work and daily deadlines bring the best of their industry to our dedicated readers.
