Origami Crane Alter

I couldn’t believe it when I stumbled across these gorgeous wedding photos of Kayla and Newton, which were shot by Kate and Matt of Altmix Photography in Atlanta.

We are discovering through our Crane Chandelier Project that there are many couples out there, such as Kayla and Netwon, who are folding a 1000 cranes for their wedding as a symbol of patients and commitment — and then incorporating into the overall décor. I love how Kayla and Netwon chose to use them as a backdrop to their ceremony; the all-white cranes made the couple stand out and gave amazing depth to the photographs.

Kayla and Newton: If you are out there reading this, we would be honoured to receive any of your cranes for our Crane Chandelier Project! We will donate 50 cents towards cancer research for every crane that we receive.
