Erin and Ryan’s Engagement Shoot

Just because Erin and Ryan had a short engagement didn’t it mean they were willing to miss out on an engagement shoot. And, as we’ve already learned, they’ve been doing things in reverse because of their unique circumstance.

After their beautiful wedding in October 2009 — where 50 of friends and family members celebrated, including Ryan’s sister Lindsay, who has since passed away from cancer — they contacted Young Hearts Photography. The company had already documented their wedding, and so Erin and Ryan asked them to take some fun photos of the two of them at their favourite diner, Bus Terminal, in Toronto’s east end, followed by a jaunt to The Beaches.

During this time, Erin and Ryan were in the process of making 1001 cranes, in memory of Lindsay, to hang at their post-wedding engagement party. Join us tomorrow for the party pictures!

  1. This couple is so, so cute… and their story – though sad – is incredibly touching. I can’t wait to see the rest of their reverse-wedding!
