A Wedding In Creemore

When the family dogs unexpectedly crashed the wedding ceremony of Erin McCammon and Daniel Shearer, it became one of the most unexpected and memorable moments of their summer wedding at the family farm in Creemore.

Erin and Daniel were married in a beautiful barn on a sunny day in June. During the ceremony, the afternoon sunlight came streaming through the barn boards as if Mother Nature was creating a spectacular light show especially for them. It’s a moment the couple says they’ll always remember.

The rest of the day was filled with DIY surprises made by the couple, such as the bunting, place card holders (cut from driftwood from the family cottage and farm), escort cards and burlap table runners. They collected all of the vintage jars for the flowers themselves, and even hung their own lights at the Station on the Green, where their reception was held.

I love the relaxed feeling of this wedding. There’s one photo in particular that sums up the entire vibe: it’s a shot of two male guests dressed in their best, each wearing his most important accessory – a snuggly carrying a sweet little baby.

A Splash Of Colour

New York cake designer Kate Sullivan takes her love of design and painting and mixes them together to create these spectacular frosted towers of sugar and flour. After a career as director of photography for a magazine Kate taught herself how to bake and decorate through books and a lot of trial and error.

Here are just a few of her spectacular designs.
