…a classic winter wedding was held at the Estates of Sunnybrook in Toronto. Jennifer and Kelvin celebrated the day with family and friends from near and far. The event featured a beautiful peach, blue and ivory themed colours with hints of silver touches throughout.

The afternoon affair started with an intimate gathering of family and friends to witness a Chinese styled photo shoot of the couple. The couple adorned some of their Hong Kong hometown’s most prominent fashion designers for both Chinese and Western attire. Meandering through the wintery gardens and landscapes of the historical Estates of Sunnybrook, the couple greeted the beautiful Canadian atmosphere with unsurpassed elegance amidst the temperatures.

The arriving guests enjoyed a cozy welcoming to canapes and cocktails in the reception and Florida rooms of the space. The painted canvas guestbook was a creative touch to invite guests to mark their presence and present their personal notes to the couple. Following was the Western Ceremony coordinated by Sarah Bunnett-Gibson in the Academy of Medicine in the upper level of the estates. The exchange of vows was captured by the light-filled room. The floral pieces crafted by BLUUM BLVD provided an added layer of airy notes that was embellished with all-natural handmade candles by Live and Lather scented with citrus and berry flavours.

The completion of the Ceremony made way for the lunch reception in the Main Ballroom. Interactive chef stations introduced a fanciful culinary experience and showcased some of the couple’s most cherished dishes and flavours. The event was hosted by Roy Pro MC with speeches, a bouquet toss, and a cupcake tower by Jacq Baked Goods filled with fusion flavours of tropical mango, strawberry, black sesame and matcha green tea.
