An Afternoon Tea Wedding

Alice and Byron, our engagement session couple from yesterday, got married May 5th, 2013 at Andrew Richard Designs.

Instead of a traditional sit down dinner, Alice and Byron hosted an afternoon tea. The ceremony was at 2:30, followed by juice, lemonade and light snacks on the patio. Once the ceremony chairs were cleared, the tables set, and the flowers placed, the couple served high tea that included scones, finger sandwiches and sweets catered by Yorkshire Pudding.

After speeches, Byron serenaded Alice on a guita-lele (a guitar that sounds and looks like a ukulele), and around 6:00pm their guests started to leave, not with out their antique tea cups which were Alice and Byron’s gift to them.

After all the guests had left, the couple and their photographer, Jamieson Dean, took the opportunity to take a few more formal photos before the sun set on this beautiful day.
