Engagement Shoot By Blue Colibri

Gee and Leva, of blue colibri photography, were so excited when they found a couple willing to drive two and a half hours to Pinery Provincial Park for their engagement shoot.

With its endless dunes and sandy beaches, the park, in the height of summer, is bustling with beach goers. With Grace and Johnny’s busy schedule the spring is the only time they could get there. The day they went was overcast, and chilly, but that didn’t stop Gee and Leva from getting some beautiful images.

Engagement Video by Brent Foster

I always say, the engagement period is a special suspended moment in time. It is important to document this wonderful period in your relationship, whether you choose an engagement video or a traditional photo shoot.

Brent Foster is the one to call if you choose an engagement video. His ability to mix words, music, and beautiful visuals is amazing. I love how Brent captures his subjects from anywhere he can put a camera; on the front of a canoe, a paddle, in the leaves, and on the ground, just to name a few places.

The benefit of a video is that it records your spoken thoughts and feelings. When the music is added it becomes a beautiful short film which you can keep forever and share with the next generation to come.

Engagement Shoot By Jennifer Xu Photography

I feel as though a few of Jennifer Xu’s engagement photos of Erika and Nate were shot for the Tiffiany & Co. Christmas ad campaign. A beautiful couple, walking through the streets, light snow falling, and spontaneous acts of affection. (I bet Tiffany & Co. spent a lot more money to get the perfect amount of snow to fall.)

Seriously, with the so called spring we are having, these engagement photos seem appropriate to feature. I love how Jennifer had the couple walk through Toronto’s Osgoode Hall on a snowy day. Their dark jackets against the warm coloured brick of the historic building, and the white snow, makes it feel as though they are in Paris … just like the Tiffany & Co. ads.
