Find Of The Week

When I spotted these stunning boleros yesterday during the first Tea With The Wedding Co., I knew right away that I wanted to spread the word. (You’ll have to excuse the quality of these photos. No, that is not a Kate Middelton-inspired hat on my head!)

Isabelle Fish of Rue Pigalle has imported these custom-made boleros, made from Parisian tulle and lace. The beautiful little cover-ups are perfect for the bride who needs her shoulders covered for the ceremony or for when the temperature drops in the evening. They are also a wonderful idea for a mother of the bride or they’d make a special bridesmaid gift.

You have to drop by Rue Pigalle to see this amazing collection and custom order your own original bolero. You’ll wear it for years to come.

For Expecting Brides

Great news for brides who are expecting: One of my favourite local designers, Tina Mak, has just releases a maternity line under the name Tina Mak Weddings.

I love Tina, who owns Partina bridal salon, because of her attention to detail, craftsmanship and her passion for her clients. Over the years Tina noticed that one out of every 10 of her brides was expecting, which inspired her to create an affordable line that will accommodate women in every stage of pregnancy.

The collection ranges from $890 to $1700, and dresses are available in off-white, ivory, champagne and dove grey. I am confident that her designs will make any expectant mother feel even more beautiful and sexy than she already does.

A Vintage Vignette

Here is a bit more vintage inspiration from a very talented group of wedding vendors in Toronto and surrounding areas.

We are so lucky here in Toronto to have such talented artist who love servicing the wedding industry and who can make any vision a reality.
