Last Friday we featured some beautiful cake stands by Jeanette Zeis Ceramics and, much to my surprise, later that same day we received a ‘real wedding’ submission with one of Jeanette’s pieces in it.

Lisa Stanton and her mother, Barbara, attended The Wedding Show last January. Barbara entered one of our draws at the time and became the winner of a cake stand by Jeanette. The piece has since been used at two bridal showers, as well as at Lisa and Ash’s September 25 wedding. Stay with us as we feature more on Lisa and Ash’s wedding in the weeks to come.

Greetings Everyone – I feel like I should extend a personal welcome to everyone who is reading this from your corner of the world! Hello – This is my first, in a series of blogs as Manager of the fabulous Wedding Show that’s happening in January 2010.

Each January for three days, The List – The Wedding Co.’s directory of some of the finest industry professionals – comes to life and a Toronto event space, the Carlu is transformed into a magical wedding fairy land  (seriously, someone should really get married during that time, it’s all decorated and fantastically beautiful)! If you think I’m exaggerating, check out last year’s video and our event page!

This show is now in its ninth year and has vendors banging on the doors to exhibit; we are almost 70% sold out! It’s exciting to be a part of the wedding industry and talk to the incredibly talented, creative, hard working and successful individuals who work to help brides and grooms create their special day.

If you’re interested in attending, or just seeing what goes into the behind the scenes,  stay tuned there’ll be lots of updates leading up to the show!
