STILLMOTION Takes A Stand

There has been a lot of talk lately about the wedding industry giving too much attention to the details of the wedding rather the couple themselves.

For example, blogs are being criticized for featuring real weddings that focus on the material details rather than the love involved. Meanwhile, photographers and videographers are being singled out for spending more time capturing the details of the wedding and not the emotion.

Can this be true? I leave it up to you decide but here is a company that is taking a stand.

STILLMOTION is a Toronto-based wedding photo and cinema company that uses the wedding day as only the stage to tell the story of a couple and their journey together.

They pride themselves in doing their homework, which means spending countless hours with a couple prior to their wedding. They’ll find out as much as they can about the relationship – including what makes it unique – and will then weave these details into the film and use them to help navigate the day and capture those moments that they feel other image makers would miss.

The team at STILLMOTION is inspired by each individual couple and the stories they have to tell. They’ve actually launched a new website, You Are Not Cattle, that explains their mission and provides insight into who they are and their own personal journey leading up to this day.

Stillmotion is also giving away a photo and cinema package worth $15,000! See below for details.

Take a look at this recent video by STILLMOTION and you will see what they stand for.
