Have you considered submitting your wedding or your work to The Daily News?
Perhaps you should!

We LOVE to see:

  • Professional Achievements: awards, recognition, etc.
  • Industry Announcements: openings, events, sales, etc.
  • Etiquette and Advice questions
  • Wedding-related products and services

Every submission will be considered individually for relevancy, timeliness and the current blog schedule, and they must adhere to our editorial policy (below).

We dedicate certain weeks to cover larger themes we feel are currently relevant - if you want to share ideas, related topics, or work (current or historical) that fit with upcoming themes, we'd also love to hear from you.

Submissions

  • Include “Editorial Submission:” in the subject line of the email
  • Attached images must be web ready or 72 dpi (low-resolution)
  • We will not accept watermarked images but a credit will be given to the individual/company who submitted the work and on a case by case basis to other involved professionals

Editorial Policy

Blog subjects are selected by The Daily News’ editor.

No one can pay to be featured on The Daily News. That's what advertising is for, and it's always labeled as such. Selling ourselves (literally) would destroy our legitimacy and integrity. Plus, we'd never earn your trust that way. So we'll never make a dime off your venue rental nor a penny from the sale of the latest gown we told you about. We’ll also tell you when we’ve received a free product or service to try out ourselves.

That said, on occasion, we send out, and post "Sponsored" e-mails on behalf of advertisers. You'll recognize them from the subject line of the email or the title of the post on the blog, which will always clearly state they have been sponsored - in other words, they have been paid for.

We will never sell our subscriber list to anyone. Not for any amount of money.
