We are in love with this inspiring elopement style shoot created by a very talented team who wanted to express visually the importance of simple beauty.
I will let Lea Marcucci of Marcucci Photography describe the story unfolding in front of you.
‘A beautiful summer morning was welcomed by a cozy and intimate styled editorial at the historic Great Hall in Toronto, Ontario. We dreamt up a quaint and calm elopement, and brought old romance to life to inspire brides that their wedding day can be a relaxing and beautiful day with your closest loved ones. Taking place at The Great Hall, and mixing the best of both bohemian beauty and minimalistic touches, we brought natural elements and modern design together with a soft colour palette, mixed metallics, geodes and stones, and fresh luscious fruits and botanicals. We warmed up the white walls with textures of wood, and added himalayan salts for a pop of beautiful colour, all while creating a sweet and cozy elopement feel.
The couple awoke in the morning to handwritten vows, cups of hot herbal tea and pastries, and made the most of every moment together before saying their intimate I do’s. She wore a stunning two pieced gown, and walked down the aisle barefoot, the sweetest floral anklet adorning her left leg. They had their first kiss in front of a copper altar covered with organically placed florals, as if they grew there over night, and dined on the most beautiful natural-looking wedding cake. The two danced in the warm sun, ending the evening in each others arms.’
