French inspired Bridal Shower
Toronto wedding planner, Laura Olsen recalls this beautiful collaboration with the brides sister and an amazingingly talented group of Toronto wedding professionals.
“Jacklyn, sister-of-the-bride, reached out to us in the spring to help her with planning an intimate, beautiful, colourful bridal shower for her sister, who was getting married in the fall. Jacklyn wanted it to be a gorgeous, detailed affair, that didn’t feel like a typical bridal shower, but rather a lovely lunch with their best friends.
We immediately got to work defining a colour palette that navigated away from what one would typically associate with a bridal shower and embraced the soft blue walls of the event space. She wanted it to be a luxurious experience for all of the guests so we carefully curated each moment of the day.
Guests arrived to a welcome cocktail of a Lavender French 75 and flowers in every direction, by Ashley Elaine Florals. Tables were dressed in fine place settings from Plate Occasions. When guests departed, they were gifted with bottles of prosecco and a choice of custom flavoured and custom painted chocolates from CXBO or mini delicate chocolate hazelnut cakes from Cakelaine, continuing the celebration in the days to come.”
