Andrea and Ian met each other at Toronto’s annual Tweed Ride, so it was very appropriate that they used a tandem bicycle to get from the ceremony site to the restaurant and back home again.
This creative and crafty couple made their own apparel for their wedding. Andrea re-purposed her mom’s wedding dress and Ian made his suit jacket. Andrea also made her bouquet and the boutonnieres, though she got the flowers at Shaw Flowers and Gifts. Ian used the burgundy ribbon that is wrapped around the flowers to wrap the gift he gave her on her birthday, which was also their third date. They have used it to wrap presents ever since, including her engagement ring and they continue to use the tandem bike.
