My first stop was at the Tinsel Trading Co., a mecca for ribbons buttons and bows, located in the heart of the garment district.

I always make a point of visiting here even if it is just to be inspired by the wonderful walls of ribbon and fabric flowers. My visit this time was to find some trimmings for our up coming post on metallic details, you won’t be disappointed.

Over the next week, I will show you where I went, who I met and what ideas can come from a little inspiration shopping.
