Inspired by Strawberry Ice

A group of talented Toronto wedding vendors got together to celebrate Valentine’s Day and Pantone’s Strawberry Ice.

Berlyn Lai, owner of BLoved Events explains her inspiration for the shoot. “This hearts and Valentines day style shoot was inspired by one of Pantone’s top 10 spring 2015 colours – Strawberry Ice. I took a modern but romantic approach to designing this shoot by focusing on strawberry ice, along with hues of coral and blush pinks. Lace linens provided by Linen Closet softened our table settings, and were complimented beautifully with florals by Pink Twig

What better way to celebrate love and Valentines and having a bit of fun by using hearts in various different elements, heart-shaped macarons and cookies, a custom heart-shaped seating chart by Pulp Function, and to top it off a large heart-shaped marquee light that set the scene for our dessert table set-up with delicious treats and a wedding cake from Le Dolci

The concept of a Valentines Day wedding was shot by Sandy Tam Photography, the genius behind the lens that captured our shoot at Berkeley Field House.

Discovering this perfect blush wedding dress from Blush by Hayley Paige at Sash & Bustle, I knew we had the perfect dress for our romantic Valentines Day style shoot. Paired with accessories from Anne Sportun, the pink sapphire accessories added that little touch colour and sparkle every bride should have on their wedding day.’
