Inspired By The Toronto Flower Market

Inspired by the Toronto Flower Market, and the idea of shopping locally for your wedding, The Wedding Co. gathered a group talented vendors including, Katia Trudeau of Found In Love, Antonia Akai-Casuccio of The Loved One, hairstylist Nicole Graftner and Shawna Lee Beauty,  to create a styled shoot for the urban bride with an individual spirit.

The concept:  Early on in the planning process our bride made a decision to try and source everything she needed for her wedding in her own neighbourhood of Queen West, this included dropping by the Toronto Flower Market to pick up her wedding bouquet on the way to her wedding.

You will see our bride in three different dress all found on the same block between Trinity Bellwoods Park and Shaw Street, Brian Bailey, Bicyclette Boutique and Magwood. Her headpiece was found across the street at Rue Pigalle and her rings just west on Queen at Anne Sportun Fine Jewellery. The bouquet was created by Sweet Woodruff just north of the park on Dundas Street.

When ready, our bride dropped by the flower market to pick-up her bouquet, while there, she couldn’t resist indulging in a gourmet popsicle from The Pop Stand and posing for a photo by the ice cream truck. When ready she jumped on her bike and headed off to her wedding.

If you would like to be inspired by the Toronto Flower Market, drop by September 13th at 1056 Queen Street West at Fennings Street.
