Leah and Michael’s Invitation
Paraphrased from a longer post by Vané Broussard, the BrooklynBride on The Bride’s Guide – Ideas from the Editors of Martha Stewart Weddings.
The ladies at Ice Cream Social created this invitation for Leah and Micheal’s wedding yesterday at the Brooklyn Pop-Up Wedding Chapel. Jenn and Mary also designed the logo for the Pop-Up Wedding Series at the chapel (303Grand, Brooklyn).
You’d never know it was a last minute affair based on the great design. The invitation was inspired by the current issue of Martha Stewart Weddings that features a wedding by a paper-loving stationer and designed to match the feel and look of the Pop-Up Chapel: “We were inspired by all the charming paper decorations MSW brought in for the wedding chapel decor. They lent themselves beautifully as inspiration for the graphic shapes we created as a border. We coupled that with a little Brooklyn flair— taken from the Pop-Up Wedding Chapel logo we made and designed— which made for the perfect combo, and in the end, a lovely and unique invitation for the winning couple.”
Since time was of the essence, instead of printing out the invitations and mailing them to guests, the invite was uploaded to Pingg and sent electronically! Not only quick, but eco-friendly too!
