Under Fairy Lights At Archeo
Meaghan and Patrick describe their beautiful day…
…”the main focus during our wedding planning was really just to plan a big party for our friends and family. We envisioned a balance of fancy and formal with relaxed and laid back, and were thrilled with the results. We wanted to keep the formalities to a minimum while still maintaining some traditions that felt close to our hearts, to maximize time spent mingling and having fun with our guests. Laughter and comedy has always played a big role in our relationship and so it was important to us for our guests to feel at ease and able to have fun with the evening.
After a week spent eyeing the weather forecast like a hawk, we were thrilled that the rain held off long enough for photos outdoors. It was incredible to come back to the venue for the ceremony to see the work that Archeo and SweetPea’s staff and the bride’s sisters and mother had put in to bring our vision to life – everything felt just right, intimate and cozy.
We have so many favourite moments from our day but one that stands out in particular is later in the evening, sitting under the fairy lights on Archeo’s patio with a small group of family and friends and just enjoying some peaceful moments while the party continued inside. And, of course, being able to look back on our beautiful photos and know that our son was there with us on our big day.”
