Meet Elm Hill Cookies
Owner Janis Smith and her team of bakers will be at The Wedding Co. Show, January 13-15 at the Carlu sampling their famous cookies.
Janis opened Elm Hill Cookies in December 2010 with the motto: “we do not cut corners”, meaning that there is not a round cookie in the shop – every cookie is square, including their square headed gingerbread men!
Her motto goes a lot deeper than just the shape of their cookies. Elm Hill Cookies only uses the finest ingredients, with no artificial colours. Everything is hand cut and baked in small batches. Even their attention to their packaging is commendable: all boxes are 100% post consumer fiber and 100% recyclable. Their biodegradable ribbon is made from Swedish pine trees and are compostable, as are the transparent bags they use for individually wrapped cookies.
Elm Hill’s favours are a great gift for your guests, their custom packaging fits four cookies and is handsomely finished off with coloured baker’s twine or ribbon as well as a custom tag.
