Orly & Ken At The Gardiner Museum

Last summer Arthur K of Fusion Events helped Orly and Ken plan their wedding at the Gardiner Museum. I asked Orly a few questions about their day, this is what she had to say.

Where did you meet?

Ken and I met at work.  We both work at a hospital and would often say “hello” when passing by in the halls.  Over time we got to know each other better and eventually this led to our first date (June 7, 2011) at Canyon Creek near the hospital.  We knew each other as acquaintances for almost 3 years before going on a date.

What is your most memorable moment?

Our most memorable moment was the “first look” which was coordinated by our photographers.  It was such a special and intimate moment seeing each other for the first time.  I’ll never forget walking up behind Ken, putting my arms around him and seeing his expression as he turned around to see me for the first time in my wedding dress.

What was your most unexpected moment?

When our wedding planner, Arthur Kerekes, surprised us by playing his saxophone on the dance floor.  We loved this unique touch and so did our guests!

Is there anything you would have done differently?

It would have been helpful to create “Thank You” signs in advance for us to use as photo props, as this would have made it a lot easier to select photos to use for our thank you cards!
