Joanna and Mira ~ Engaged In Toronto

Photographer Gillian Foster describes Joanna and Mira’s Toronto engagement session.

“Joanna and Mira are a fun and adventurous couple who love to travel. I asked them to bring a few momentous from their travels to their engagement shoot – they brought a whole envelope full! The metro map of New York made for a perfect backdrop for their bands. Joanna also proposed to Mira, while on a flight New York.

They wanted their engagement photos to have a very urban feel, so we visited three iconic locations in Toronto to incorporate historic architecture and graffiti art. We started off at the Love Locks in the Distillery District, then headed over to Queen Street west to capture the bright and bold murals in graffiti alley. Finally, we finished off in Liberty Village to grab a few final shots at the Toronto Carpet Factory.”
