Seaside At Niagara On The Lake

Beautiful hues of blue for the couple who aren’t afraid of a little colour.

Today we are featuring seaside inspiration by a very talented team of wedding professionals. Planner and stylist Caryn Leith of As You Wish Weddings describes the shoot.

“The charm of Niagara-on-the-Lake, a town often described as Ontario’s prettiest, is undeniable. Although known mostly for it’s wineries, we wanted to showcase its beauty in a different way – through its gorgeous waterfront, shot at Golden Hour, through the lens of the talented Ugo Photography.

124 on Queen, a modern luxury hotel in the heart of downtown Niagara-on-the-Lake, invited us to shoot bridal portraits before we headed down to the Niagara-on-the-Lake Sailing Club and its adjacent beach. The dress we chose was a stunning blue-toned Chantel Lauren gown that is actually hand painted, and it couldn’t have been more perfect for the setting.

For the tablescape, a minimalist approach reflected the inspiration for this editorial – the natural beauty of the water. In keeping with this, we selected natural elements such as manzanita branches and neutral tones for the custom calligraphy paper goods, while also infusing colours that would be reminiscent of a summer sunset into the florals, desserts, and rose-gold flatware.”
