Eagles Nest Golf Club

May 4, 2009

This week, The Wedding Co. pays tribute to the oodles of bird imagery we’ve spotted from a Venue Tour of a ‘nest’ to bird and feather accessories and inspirational décor elements.

An intimate winter wedding in the Nest

An intimate winter wedding in the Nest

Eagles Nest feels like a destination venue. It’s not everyday you stumble on a space inside the GTA that feels completely isolated from urban sprawl with a panoramic view of rolling hills and a serene man-made pond.

Though the view from the stately clubhouse of the public golf course often includes a peppering of brightly coloured golfers spread across the course, it feels like a private space. This is a space that’s just as cozy mid-winter, especially tucked up on the second floor Nest, as its wide, covered terrace is airy through the summer.

And if you golf, you could score yourself a birdie before heading to the nest to tie the knot!

Venue Snapshot

Numbers: 10 – 360 for cocktails
Prices: Start at $125.00 per person plus taxes and gratuities for a reception, ceremonies are additional
Location: 10,000 Dufferin Street, Maple (map)
Parking: Onsite and free
Feel: Friendly and immaculate inside and out, a little ambitious in the grand décor
Facilities: This is a full service space. From linens and rentals to staff, catering and a dance floor – multiple rooms and outdoor spaces mean a wedding can be customized to the size of your party and your needs. Upstairs a bridal suite is a compact but private space for preparing. Multiple events may take place simultaneously so spaces like the bridal suite may be shared.
Great Spot for a portrait: In the extra large wine cellar or take advantage of the long terrace outside overlooking the expanse of green
