Saving the Date?

November 2, 2009

Try these gorgeous {and brand NEW} cards from Montreal’s Irene Suchocki. We’d love to stick a Save the Date like this on our fridges or in our diaries and luckily Irene’s subjects include cityscapes, nature and gorgeously whimsical moments, so one of her cards will likely ’save the day’ and fit the theme for any wedding. Take a peek at the posts on her photoblog: Eye Poetry for a great overview of the scope of her work.

The Canadian photographer has earned a slew of awards and her work has appeared on a number of book covers and in a pile of blogs and magazines. Her style, she has written on her Etsy profile is more about finding that little bit of mystery or evoking a certain mood than faithfully capturing a scene. She also wrote: “I like to explore the ethereal, the surreal, the whimsical, the mysterious, and the beautiful. I enjoy creating little poems for the eyes.” What a perfect philosophy behind a gorgeous save the date.

Irene is also offering a current sale on her print sets, take a look at her Etsy shop, ISPhotography.
