Good Morning (er, afternoon) — it was a slow start today after The Wedding Show closed last night but we’re hugely motivated to bring our readers some spectacular eye candy this week, not only as we give away the beautiful items you may have seen at The Handmade Stand at The Wedding Show, but also our grand raffle prize of a trip to wine country courtesy of Vineland Estates and Executive Travel.
We’ll also be bringing you a wedding a day from a super colourful Indian/Chinese fete to a destination Whistler party. The first is up later this aft.
A few of the items from The Handmade Stand
There were so many wonderful ideas at the Homemade Stand. My favorites were the guest chart and sparkler holders. I loved the guest chart showing how each guest knew the couple, such a great conversation starter for the guests and a wonderful keepsake for the couple. The sparkler holders were such a nice simple touch and so many places to use sparklers, as you exit the ceremony when done in the evening, as you cut your cake, your first dance, the grand entrance! So many possibilities that would make for some great photo ops.
