A Neighbourhood Wedding
We LOVE it when couples plan, shop and marry in their own neighbourhood. Meet Natalie and Matt, they did just that in Leslieville.
Natalie explains: “We wanted our wedding to reflect our day to day life versus having it in a place that we didn’t have a connection to. So we focused on keeping everything within our neighbourhood and making it really simple. Both of us didn’t want a fussy day where we were trying to be something we aren’t. For me too, it was all about my bouquet and hair piece! We love Queen Margherita Pizza – we sat at the bar about a year ago and realized we might actually be able to pull off a wedding there! We wanted comfortable surroundings and great food. We loved that everything was so close – I was able to get ready at our house, and we even walked home from the restaurant at 3am, flower bouquet and everything – it was magic. Our whole day felt happy, comfortable and we can’t believe our blessings.
