Winter wedding At The Great Hall

We can’t wait to share this spectacular wedding at The Great Hall in downtown Toronto. We asked Victoria Pap, Events Coordinators at The Great Hall, what made this wedding so special.

What made this wedding so unique was the fact that Jillian and Warren used all of the spaces we had available for their big day. Using Longboat Hall for their ceremony provided them with a warm romantic backdrop lit with candles and made their guest count of 160 seem very intimate. When they moved up to the crisp white Conversation Room for cocktails, they didn’t need to do a lot to make it romantic and then finally having dinner and dancing in the grand Main Hall, it really gave their guests 3 different experiences in the one venue.

What stands out for you most about this wedding?

The thing that really stood out for us is that this was a winter wedding. So often brides only look at the spring, summer and fall months for their big day, thinking that the temperature will be what brings in the warmth. As you can see on all the faces in these photos it doesn’t matter what the weather is like outside. It’s all about being with the love of your life as well as your family and friends.
